Your reliable design & development partner
I am strongly convinced that respectful and trustful partnerships can create great things. Design is not a one-way creation: it's the exchange in opinions and expertise that creates ideas out of the box. Team player by nature (former basketball player ndr.), I involve my clients and their potential users in every step possible during the creative process. Gain feedback, iterate quickly.
Values I go through
1. Transparency
Transparency needs to be the foundation of any relationship to me. My communication is open and honest, and I hope my clients and team members do the same with me. Being respectfully vocal about our opinions, goals, and visions makes sure that we are all on the same page and creates a valuable synergy.
2. Accountability
I take ownership of my successes and mistakes, especially mistakes. Ego is not on the table when it comes to design: I think it's crucial for all parts to be able to receive constructive feedback, take a step back where appropriate, and reset our minds to deliver something better.
3. Being set up for success
Both designers (collaborators in general) and clients need to set each other up for success. Designers must over explain, document, and involve clients to make sure nothing remains untold or uncovered. Clients need to be clear about their vision and goals, so that designers do not walk in the dark and can produce the best result possible.
4. Enjoy the route!
I love being friendly and kind, it doesn't cost a penny! None of the clients that I worked with disappeared from my life and I appreciate it so much: it means that I made a mark as a person other than as a designer. I'm thankful for any project knocking at the door and I enjoy the process with my hiking companions as much as I can.
